Thursday October 14 a luncheon was held in Clinton , MS to honor Mike Chaney, McIntosh, AL driver, for being selected as the XL Insurance National Driver of the Year. Mike was accompanied by his Wife Wanda and grand daughter Megan. In attendance were Miller top management including our President Scott Miller , representatives from Boyles Moak Brickell Marchetti, Insurance, Inc., and XL Insurance.

Mike was selected by XL Insurance to acknowledge his 29 years of safe driving covering over 2 Million miles. In his comments to the group Mike noted it took more than the driver to have a good safety record. It also takes a company willing to provide good equipment and a commitment to safety. I agree with Mike but it also takes a driver that cares about people and is committed to safety just as he is.

Kate McGinn, XL Insurance V. P. of Underwriting presented Mike with a plaque from XL Insurance and a $1000.00 savings bond. Mike also received a jacket and several other gifts.

Our congratulations go to Mike and our thanks to his family. We also appreciate XL Insurance for having a program acknowledging and rewarding safe driving.
