In the mid-1980's, Miller Transporters was one of the first bulk carriers to implement a formal quality process. Today, Miller's quality process is on the leading edge in our industry. Quality is essential to our success. It results from constant measurement and improvement of our processes, using statistical process control techniques.
Our quality emphasis is directed toward understanding our customers' needs and then meeting or exceeding their needs and/or expectations. This is accomplished through employee involvement at every level of the company, as well as through a close working relationship with our suppliers. Through the adoption of Dr. W. Edwards Deming's Fourteen Points, a spirit of teamwork and cooperation has united Millers' employees in a desire for excellence, accepting only the best in job performance.
Year after year, Miller Transporters has been selected as a Readers' Choice winner in Logistics Magazine's "Quest for Quality" edition, an honor that gives us great pride, since the recipient carriers are chosen by their shippers.
